INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
Pixel Blue College is located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Edmonton is the capital of Alberta, and one of the most multicultural cities in Canada.  The college is a licensed private post-secondary school under the Alberta Government’s Private Vocational Schools Act. 

There are several things that make Pixel Blue College’s learning style unique and successful.  The biggest benefit to the college’s program is the immersion style learning in which a maximum of 12 students work in an environment that allows them to create and work as though they are in the real world.   Our courses contain the material that is typically taught in a two-year program but condensed it into 5 or 6 months, depending on the program.

STUDY PERMIT and VISA INFORMATION
There are many things to know when you are coming to study in Canada. Visit Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) for up-to-date information.

Most international students will need a study permit if they plan to study in Canada for more than 6 months.  Our entrance requirements are more subjective than other post secondary schools as we are focused on finding the right people to enter our program, who have not only the skills, but also the drive and passion to be successful. As English is the language of instruction Pixel Blue College, an adequate knowledge of written and spoken English is a prerequisite for admission.  All applicants must meet the English language proficiency requirement.

The entrance requirements at Pixel Blue College are more subjective than other post secondary schools. The Registrar is focused on finding the right people to enter our programs, who have not only the skills, but the drive and passion to be successful. 

To apply at Pixel Blue College, we require the following:

• Registration Application (Paper or Online), with application fee.
• Resume
• 2 Letters of reference
• Creative work, if applying for Design & Motion Graphics or 3D Animation, or 2D Animation
• Most recent transcript or statement of marks

Once you have assembled the above, please contact Registrar to book a Personal Interview that can be completed over the phone, online chat or through Skype.

Once you have been accepted, Pixel Blue College will send you an official Letter of Acceptance and your Official Confirmation of Enrollment. Please take this documentation with your completed study permit application package to the closest Canadian Embassy/Consulate to begin the study permit process. 
 Students should allow a minimum of 3–4 months for processing. Please remember to confirm your attendance with the Registrar when you have obtained your study permit.

HOUSING
Pixel Blue College is a boutique style college focusing on hands on practical career training and due to the size of institution; there is no residence or campus housing available.   However, the campus is located in the heart of Edmonton’s downtown area and is connected by Light Rail Transit (LRT) and Edmonton transit services.
